Balaam Barugahara is a Ugandan politician and public figure. He serves as the State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs in the Government of Uganda. Before joining politics, he was well known in Uganda’s entertainment and events industry. He worked as an event promoter and music industry figure. He helped organize and promote many public events and concerts in Uganda.
As State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, he works in government programs that support:
- Young people in Uganda
- Child welfare and protection
- Youth empowerment programs
- Skills development and job creation initiatives
He supports policies that aim to improve opportunities for youth and help them become more productive in society. He is involved in community engagement activities. He often speaks about Youth entrepreneurship, Education and skills training, Reducing unemployment among young people, Supporting creative industries
