David Bahati is a Ugandan politician and accountant. He is the Member of Parliament for Ndorwa West Constituency in Kabale District. He was born in Kabale District, Uganda. He studied Bachelor of Commerce at Makerere University, MBA at Cardiff University (UK), He is also a professional accountant. Before politics, he worked in finance and administration.He joined politics in 2006 and has served for many years as MP for Ndorwa West. He is a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party. He has also served in different government positions, including State Minister for Finance (Planning), State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry). He focuses on Economic development and planning, Supporting business and industry growth, Youth and community development programs, Public service delivery in his constituency. He has been active in Parliament for many years, representing Ndorwa West and participating in national law-making and development programs.
